It Started with

Rae Williams built her career across both sides of modern media: as a journalist, host, producer, podcaster, author, and television strategist. Then the creator economy shook everything up. It didn’t level the playing field; it rewrote the expectations.
Creators were suddenly expected to have the polish and versatility of professional hosts. Journalists and television talent were expected to build audiences, master new platforms, and think like creators. Yet talented people on both sides were still being asked to arrive with polished work and credible experience before anyone gave them the environment to create it.
Rae understood that gap professionally and personally. She saw the gaps while covering the creator economy, and felt the impact as a traditional media personality. She dreamt of a way to help people break into media within the evolving landscape.

So Rae created Make It Hollywood: a media house that develops talent by making real media. Through original programming, production experiences, publishing, and talent discovery, MIH creates the platforms she wished more people had at the beginning of their careers.
